Project HTRB: Production of the coupons and loading of the three Capsules of the geometry experiment BR2-P11. Internal report
Description
Automatic translation: This experiment is part of a geometry test in which the life expectancy of coated fuel particles is to be examined as a function of the buffer and outer layer thickness. Abstract (German)
Dieses Experiment ist ein Teil eines Geometrietests, in dem die Lebenserwartung beschichteter Brennstoffteilchen in Abhängigkeit von Puffer und Außenschichtdicke untersucht werden soll. In diesem Experiment werden drei Partikelsorten mit variierter Pufferschicht dicke getrennt in drei gespülten Kapseln bestrahlt. Zieldosis ist 8 x 1021n/cm2 E > 0,1 MeV bei 1150°C. Die Bestrahlung wird beendet, wenn entweder die Zieldosis erreicht ist, oder die R/B-Werte zeigen, daß etwa 30 % der Partikeln versagt haben. Die Experimentdaten sind auf dem Datenblatt angegeben. Die Partikeln sind bei Nukem hergestellt. Die Herstellung ist in (1) beschrieben. Sortierung der Partikeln ist in (2) beschrieben.Files
