The power station and the environment future research objectives and necessities
Description
The German Federal Ministry for Research and Technoloy is prepared to support financially even further the development of bituminous coal fired power stations which are kind to the environment. However the Federal Government expects substantial participation by industry in the research plans. Special importance from the energy policy point of view is attached to the development of district heating supplies. The importance of nuclear power for the Federal Government is explained. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Das Bundesministerium fuer Forschung und Technologie ist bereit, auch weiterhin die Entwicklung umweltfreundlicher Steinkohlekraftwerke finanziell zu unterstuetzen. Die Bundesregierung erwartet aber eine staerkere Beteiligung der Industrie an den Forschungsvorhaben. Dem Ausbau der Fernwaermeversorgung wird besondere energiepolitische Bedeutung beigemessen. Der Stellenwert der Kernenergie fuer die Bundesregierung wird erlaeutert. (orig.)Additional details
