A contribution to determining of the parameters and analysis of the characteristics of the asynchronous motor with double cage rotor

Description
The principle aim and task of thesis is to search a modern method for computation of parameters of the existing Asynchronous Motor With Double Cage Rotor, which rated data are: 240V, 3.5kW, 50Hz, four poles, and triangle winding connection. A mathematical model and an algorithm for the nonlinear and iterative calculation by using Finite Element Method in 3D domain will be given. The three dimensional calculation of the magnetic field in the three dimensional domain of the Asynchronous Motor with Double Cage Rotor is performed with the computer program package Ansoft Maxwell 14, based on the Finite Element Method. The distribution of the magnetic field in different axial cross — sections of the motor, for different rotor position and different loads in
winding are presented. By using the obtained values of the 3D — magnetic field calculations, the electromagnetic and electromechanical characteristics of the motor are calculated and presented in the tables and figures. The results of the
field computations, after they are used for calculations of electromagnetic characteristics, as the air gap flux linkage, magnetic flux density distribution along the air gap, and leakage flux in the overhang line-windings. The inductions are calculated from the magnetic field energy, stored in a closed domain of the motor volume. The values of the leakage magnetic flux allow to
be determined, the important leakage overhang line-windings reactance of the motor.
