Reaction between scandium ions and titanium hydroxide in hydrochloric acid solutions

Description
Interaction of scandium ions with titanium hydroxide in solutions using the method of residual concentrations is investigated. It is stated that scandium is sorbed on titanium hydroxide within the range of pH 2-4.3 sorption is followed by cherical reaction. Sc(OH)TiO6xH2O scandium titanate of crystal structure is prepared. Its thermal stability and consequence of phase transformations under heating are studied
