Suppressing the MHD activity during supplementary current drive and the Bernstein ion wave heating at plasma boundary in the TO-2 tokamak
- 1. Gosudarstvennyj Komitet po Ispol'zovaniyu Atomnoj Ehnergii SSSR, Moscow (Russian Federation). Inst. Atomnoj Ehnergii
Description
Effect of supplementary current induced at plasma filament boundary on plasma stability in tokamak is studied experimentally. At boundary the current is induced by two ways: contact one when circular diaphragm elements are used as electrodes, and contactless one, that is, by increase of peripheral plasma electric conductivity at its heating by Bernstein ion wave
