Searching for 6-quark, hidden color clusters with the pion-nucleus double charge exchange reaction
Description
It is argued that the large forward cross section observed in the recent LAMPF 14C(π+,--)14O(DA) experiment is indicative of the existence of 6-quark clusters in nuclear matter. Quark model calculations are presented which fit the experimental cross section data
