The interacting field theories of strings and superstrings

Creators

  • 1. Univ. of Cambridge, Cambridge (UK)

Description

The authors give the general framework for constructing gauge invariant interacting field theories of strings. They show that the above frame work has a natural geometrical interpretation. Motivated by the underlying geometrical structure of strings, they extend the constructions to superstrings where they present a model for open superstring field theory which is Chern-Simons like, gauge invariant and supersymmetric
