Probabilistic approach to predictions of radioactive contamination of agricultural production
Description
Basic provisions of the probabilistic approach to predicting radioactive contamination of agricultural production are described. Comparison of prediction results achieved on the bases of traditional and probabilistic approaches is carried out taking as an example one farm located on the territory subjected to contamination after the Chernobyl NPP accident. It is shown that application of deterministic approach may result in significant error when evaluating agricultural production contamination. 9 refs., 1 fig., 4 tabs
