Description
The authors investigate if and how the radiation dose to which the human body is exposed during X-ray examinations or air travel can be ''saved'' elsewhere. Using a vacuum cleaner and special filters, airborne radon decay products can be removed, balancing the total radiation exposure
Abstract (German)
Untersucht wird, wie bei einer Roentgenuntersuchung oder bei einer Flugreise auf den Koerper uebertragene Strahlendosis an anderer Stelle eingespart werden kann. Mit einem Staubsauger und geeigneten Filtern laesst sich die Luft von den Radonzerfallsprodukten reinigen und die Strahlenexposition ausgleichen. (orig.)Additional details
