Advanced fuel cycles in the ACR
Description
The advances CANDU reactor (ACR) has several fundamental design features that make it well suited for utilizing advanced fuels and fuel cycles: on-line refueling, a small, simple fuel bundle, and the CANDU reactor fuel-channel geometry. This paper describes a number of advanced fuels and fuel cycles in the ACR. (author)
