Nach einem Ueberblick ueber die Forschungsbereiche Umwelt, Energie, Mikrosystemtechnik und Grundlagenforschung werden die Arbeitsschwerpunkte ausfuehrlich erlaeutert. Abschliessend werden 3 Uebersichten wiedergegeben: 1. Zentrale Einrichtungen (Betriebsaufwendungen und Personaleinsatz), 2. Gesamtaufwendungen und Finanzplanung und 3. Zuordnung der F+E-Arbeiten zu den Foerderbereichen gemaess Leistungsplansystematik der Bundesregierung. (orig.)
