Extraction of rare earth and transplutonium elements by dibutylphosphoric acid in meta-nitrobenzotrifluoride

Description
Using Ce, Eu and Am as an example one investigated into the extraction of the REE and the TPE from HNO3 aqueous solutions by the dibutil phosphoric acid (DBPA) in the meta-nitrobenzotrifluoride (MNTBF). One studied the effect of the diluent on the extraction of Eu and Am by the dibutil phosphoric acid depending on HNO3 concentration in the aqueous phase. On the basis of the obtained data one introduces a pattern of the REE extraction and calculated the parameters of the extraction equations for the lanthanide source concentrations in the aqueous phase ranging from 0.1 up to 100 g/l (as to the metal) by 0.1-2 mole/l DBPA solutions in the MNTBF for 0.5-8 mole/l HNO3. One obtained the isotherms of HNO3 extraction by the DBPA solutions of varying concentration. One shows the possibility to reach higher concentrations of the REE solvates under their extraction by the DBPA in the MNTBF

На примере Ce, Eu и Am исследована экстракция РЗЭ и ТПЭ из водных растворов HNO3 дибутилфосфорной кислотой (ДБФК) в мета-нитробензотрифториде (МНТБФ). Изучено влияние разбавителя на экстракцию Eu и Am дибутилфосфорной кислотой в зависимости от концентрации HNO3 в водной фазе. На основании полученных данных предложен механизм экстракции РЗЭ и рассчитаны параметры уравнений экстракции для исходных концентраций лантанидов в водной фазе от 0.1 до 100 г/л (по металлу) растворами 0.1-2 моль/л ДБФК в МНТБФ для 0.5-8 моль/л HNO3. Получены изотермы экстракции HNO3 растворами ДБФК различной концентрации. Показана возможность достижения более высоких концентраций сольватов РЗЭ при их экстракции ДБФК в МНТБФAdditional details
