Soliton-like solutions in a semiconducting dispersive medium and simulation of their evolution

Description

A soliton-like solution in a one-dimensional system in the presence of electromagnetic and longitudinal sound waves is obtained. The evolution of soliton formation, character of its motion and attenuation in a dissipative medium are simulated. 7 refs
