Quantitative analysis of nitrogen in various materials by track radiography
- 1. Moskovskij Inzhenerno-Fizicheskij Inst., Moscow (Russian Federation)
Description
The dependence of autoradiographic sensitivity of the CR-39 detector to 0.584 MeV protons produced by a thermal neutron-induced 14N(n,p)14C reaction in a thick target on the thickness of a removed layer of a detector is found theoretically and experimentally. The feasibility for nitrogen in various materials to be analysed quantitatively by track autoradiography is estimated. (author)
