Study on influence factor and control strategy of axial power difference in peak load operation of CNP600 core

Description
With the development of Chinese energy, nuclear power will face more pressure of peak load operation, such as the Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant which uses the CNP600 technology. The control of axial power difference ΔI is one of the most difficult technical problems in peak load operation. The influences of moderator temperature, rod position of control rod, and concentration of soluble boron on ΔI were analyzed. Based on the influence law, 3 possible schemes of peak load operation were simulated. The ΔI control strategies were put forward, and the detail control scheme with the variety of power was supplied. The results can provide technical support for ΔI control in peak load operation of CNP600. (authors)
