Description
The construction of equivalent local potentials (where ''local potential'' refers to a potential the radial Schroedinger equation of which is a differential equation) from non-local separable ones can present difficulties when the Coulomb interaction is present because some of the integrals involved in the equivalent local potential do not converge. An approach is explained in which these singularities are avoided
