An experimental investigation of jet pump's behaviours in natural circulation loop
- 1. China Nuclear Power Inst., Chengdu, SC (China)
Description
An experimental study of jet pump installed in natural circulation system has been performed. The results show that the jet pump's working behaviours is greatly affected by the loop's characteristics in forced circulation, and the working range of jet pump can be adjusted by changing the difference of density between the cold leg and the hot leg. Based upon the experimental results and analysis, some suggestions on jet pump design in natural circulation system are proposed to eliminate the counter flow in suction branch
