Selfdiffusion in surfase layer of binary alloys
Description
On the basis of the simple model of binary bcc-alloys with free surface diffusion of labelled atoms (self-diffusion) in a surface monolayer of face (110) is considered using mean energy method. It is shown that due to the temperature dependence of the alloy surface concentration the self-diffusion coefficient essentially differs from the value which takes place in the same but not enriched monolayer
