Description
Analytical expressions for the impulsive causal Green's function based on the resolution of the differential equation describing the external excitation of the Bohm and Gross electrostatic wave are derived. The exact solution corresponding to the longitudinal plasma wave is put in the compact form of a two-real-variable Lommel function. copyright 1995 American Institute of Physics
