Description

The intensities and distributions of the cosmic ray heavy nuclei have been measured by the plastic nuclear track detectors at the microbe culture equipment aboard a recoverable satellite launched in July 1994. The integral intensity of the particles with Z/β larger than 10 is (6.72 +- 0.41) x 10-2 (m-2·s-1·sr-1) inside the equipment. It is found that the particles with Z/β larger than 10 not only enter randomly, but also distribute inhomogeneously inside the satellite
