Theoretical studies of electron-cyclotron heating in ELMO Bumpy Torus

  • 1. Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Tennessee (USA)

Description

The basic features of microwave propagation and electron-cyclotron damping in ELMO Bumpy Torus devices have been investigated to provide and understand the heating of the toroidal core plasma component. We present cyclotron damping calculations for nonstratified plasma geometry representative of the actual EBT configuration
