Boson expansion based on the random-phase approximation: Pt. 1
- 1. Texas Univ., Austin, TX (USA). Dept. of Physics
Description
A boson-expansion formalism based on the random-phase approximation set forth in a previous publication is extended and brought into a form amenable to practical calculations. The boson forms of the collective Hamiltonian, electric quadrupole and magnetic dipole operators are obtained. Future extensions of the formalism are also discussed. (author)
