Modern state of extraction chemistry of plutonium and neptunium
Creators
Description
A description is presented of the qualitative and quantitative characteristic features that determine the effect of the structure of the extracting agents and the nature of the solvents on the efficiency and the selectivity of the extraction process. Criteria are proposed for forecasting the effect of the nature of basic anion-ligands of the system (i.e., the nucleophilic parameters of anions) on the type of regularities for the extraction of metal salts with nucleophilic extractants, Mathematical models are developed in which a correlation is established between the distribution coefficients of the extracted elements and the quantitative composition of aqueous and organic phases
