Process and device for measuring gamma rays in a boring

Description

The description is given of a nuclear logging technique in bore holes for detecting gamma rays coming from the formations crossed. This includes a stabilization based on the detection of several peaks at different energy levels, of which at least one is situated in the range concerning the determination. This appliance includes detection systems for converting the gamma rays received into electric pulses, the amplitude of which is linked to the energy of the gamma rays

On presente une technique de diagraphie nucleaire dans les sondages pour la detection de rayons gamma provenant de formations traversees incluant une stabilisation basee sur la detection de plusieurs pics a differents niveaux d'energie dont un au moins est situe dans la plage interessant la mesure. L'appareil comprend des moyens de detection pour convertir les rayons gamma recus en impulsions electriques dont l'amplitude est liee a l'energie des rayons gamma
