Deformation cell growth kinetics in chromium and niobium alloys during heating
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Problem Materialovedeniya
Description
By the method of trasparent electron microscopy studied is the growth kinetics (on heating) in dislocation cells formed during chromium (Cr-3% CeN alloy) and niobium plastic deformation. Stated is a time dependence of cell sizes on the annealing at various temperatures. Determined and analyzed is a temperature dependence of growth rate. It is concluded that deformation cell growth kinetics at annealing is expressed by an exponential dependence, temperature coefficient values of cell growth rate being much less than those of activation energy of diffusion and selfdiffusion in the alloy bulk and along the grain boundaries. Cell growth rate is some orders less than the rate of grain growth at recrystallization
