Computer simulation of electron beam dynamics at accelerator structure and injector of S-band linac with energies of 3 and 10 MeV

Description

An electron gun with DLWG as an accelerating structure is described. The injecting energy is 70 keV, the pulse electron currents are alternately 300 and 100 mA with regulation by a grid near the cathode. An energy of 10 MeV is obtained at 2856 MHz with a pulse current of 100 mA, and an energy of 3 MeV is obtained at 2875 (or 2854 MHz) with a pulse current of 300 mA. The pulse power klystron is 5 MW
