Dry decontamination method for nuclear power plant
Description
Purpose: To attain sufficient decontamination for radioactivity by conducting satisfactory jetting using ammonium borate as blasting material. Method: Ammonium borate particles are sucked from a sucking blower by the jetting action of compressed high pressure air and jetted out together with the high pressure air and impinged against the wall surface of a water chamber to eliminate radioactive contamination on the surface. The particles fallen together with the contamination products to the bottom of the water chamber are sucked by the sucking blower, in which the contamination products are eliminated through filters and the particles are reused.
