Ionic charge state distribution of 7-ion-system (Au47+-au53+) for gold plasma and its analytic functions

Description
The average lifetimes, the level energies and the level degeneracy of each gold ion from Au47+ to Au53+ have been calculated by the extended relativistic multi-configuration Dirac-Fock theory. Based on these data, the ionization rate constants, recombination rate constants, partition functions and ionization-recombination equilibrium constants of each ion have also been calculated. According to these calculated data, ionic charge state distribution and its average charge for 7 ion-system with electron temperature and electron density are reported using ionization-recombination dynamics method. Furthermore, the analytic functions to express the relations of ionic abundance with electron temperature and electron density are derived. (authors)
