Intensification of sorption processes in synthetic ionites by laser radiation

Description

The process of uranium sorption on VP-1Ap anionite and SG-1m cationite when pulsed CO2-laser radiation affects ionites in nonsaturated and saturated by uranium states and in the process of sorption (synchronous irradiation) depending on dispersion of ionite granules is studied. It is ascertained that during uranium sorption on the SG-1m cationite with synchronous laser irradiation capacity in terms of uranium increases with a decrease in the granule size. By the method of IR spectroscopy it is shown that laser radiation promotes sorption of low-charge hydrolized or polymerized uranium complexes. Ambiguous effect of the VP-1Ap anionite granule size on the effectiveness of laser stimulation of uranium sorption processes related to the change in ionite composition is revealed
