Shielding plug
Description
In a shielding plug comprising a stationary plug and a rotational plug, a hole reaching the gap of the rotational plug is formed and a deposition fusing device is disposed to the hole for irradiating laser beams to coolants and coolant compounds deposited to the gap. The coolants and the coolant compounds fused by the device are removed to the outside of the reactor by the device. Then, the size and the weight of the driving mechanism of the rotational plug can be decreased, to improve the operation reliability the and controllability of the rotational mechanism, and facilitate the maintenance. Further, the plant safety can be improved and the space to be used can be saved by the reduction of the volume of the materials, thereby a nuclear plant of excellent economical property can be established.
