A determination of the oxygen enhancement ratio for 252Cf using cultured mammalian cells
Description
In our recent paper, which appeared in the April issue of the Journal (Hall, 1972), a formula was suggested for calculating the oxygen enhancement ratio (OER) of a mixture of neutrons and gamma rays. The expression contains the quantity Rn, the relative biological effectiveness (RBE) of neutrons relative to gamma rays at low dose-rate.
