Peculiarities of secondary lesions of rectum and bladder in tumors of pelvis bones

It is stated, that pelvis bone tumors of osteogenous and cartilaginous genesis and chordomas do not germinate in rectum and urinary bladder wall, but displace it and adhere to serous membrane of the latter. Roentgenologic appearances of irregularity and rigidity of rectum shape is not pathognomonic for diagnosis of germination of these tumors to the wall. Circular narrowing of irregular and rigid shape rectum in most cases testifies to the process inoperability. With chordomas and pelvis bone tumors of osteogeneous and cartilaginous genesis, rectum participates in tumorous process in 51.4% of cases, in urinary bladder - in 8.5% of cases. The obtained data permit to determine the volume of surgical intervention in the case of pelvis bone tumors and to predict possible complications for oncologist-surgeon
