Fabrication and character of Pb(Zrsub(0.54)Tisub(0.46)) O3 piezoelectric ceramics

Description
The piezoelectric ceramics of Pb(Zrsub(0.54)Tisub(0.46)Osub(3)) have been fabricated by sintering the mixture of PbO, TiO2 and ZrO2. Detailed measurement was performed on dielectric constants, Curie Weise constants, Curie temperature, elastic and piezoelectric properties, and density for the PZT ceramic fabricated. Dielectric constants for epsilonsub(11) and epsilonsub(33) are 0.751x103 and 1.04x103 when measured at 1MHz and room temperature respectively. Curie Weise constants for epsilonsub(11) and epsilonsub(33) are about 1.45x105degK and 1.15x105 degK and Curie temperature is about 385degC. The elastic and piezoelectric properties are as shown in Table 1 and density is about 7.31x103kg/m3 for all samples. (Author)
