Description
By introducing the transient additional force caused by rolling motion, the transition criterion of dispersed bubble flow to bubble flow under rolling condition is constructed, which is in good agreement with the experimental data. Through the analysis of the transition criterion model, it is found that with the increasing of the rolling amplitude, the apparent velocity of the liquid phase required for the formation of the dispersed bubble flow increases, while with the decreasing of the rolling period, the apparent velocity of the liquid phase required for the formation of the dispersed bubble flow decreases. When the rolling period decreases to a certain extent, the transition curve will be basically consistent with the static condition. (authors)
