The DBAQ G35-26

  • 1. Delaware Univ., Newark, DE (USA). Dept. of Physics and Astronomy
  • 2. Nordisk Inst. for Teoretisk Fysik (NORDITA), Copenhagen (Denmark)

Description

The DQ G35-26 is spectroscopically analyzed and the results discussed in the context of dredge-up of carbon and the accretion of hydrogen. The best fit is Teff=13,000K with firm limits between 11,000K and 14,000K, log(g) between 9.0 and 9.5. The hydrogen abundance is close to 1% by number and the carbon abundance close to 3%. All other elements have less than solar abundance. (orig.)
