Phonon bottleneck when doubling Ho3+ hyperfine EPR lines in BaY2F8 crystal
Description
The effect of phonon bottleneck when doubling Ho3+ hyperfine EPR lines with projections of nuclear momenta m=3/2 and 7/2 in BaJ2F8 crystal is experimentally and theoretically investigated. It is shown that the form of spin-phonon interaction g(E) line and value of the bottleneck factor can be determined from the dependence of the relaxation time on the distance between the given lines. It is stated that EPR and g(E) lines in the BaJ2F8+0.1% Ho3+ system have equal width and in form they are close to the Gauss one
