Laser spectroscopy and β-decay asymmetry from on-line implanted nuclei
Description
The method of collinear laser spectroscopy is combined with β-radiation detected optical pumping by implanting the optically oriented atoms into a cubic crystal. The aim of the experiment is to increase the sensitivity of collinear laser spectroscopy and to study internal fields and relaxation processes by the interaction of the oriented nucleus with the lattice.
