Investigation to validate technology for the fine cleaning of BN reactor sodium coolant from cesium isotopes

Description
Theoretical analysis, results of special experiments performed using graphite materials in BOR-60 primary sodium circuit and results of practical procedures for reactor coolant cleaning confirm capability for finely refine and decrease specific activity of cesium isotopes in the coolant below the values regulated to attribute substances to non-radioactive materials. The necessary fine cleaning of the sodium coolant can be provided by sequential cleaning using cesium disposable catchers or sequential cleaning with one catcher, which is regularly regenerated.
