A quark rearrangement model for low-energy annihilation
Creators
- 1. Osaka Univ., Osaka (Japan). Faculty of Engineering Science
Description
In the quark rearrangement model for low-energy nucleon-antinucleon annihilation, the nucleon and antinucleon rearrange their constituting three quarks(q) and three antiquarks(q-bar), respectively, into three pairs of q and anti-q which make the SU(6) mesons. The probability for the initial nucleon and antinucleon to annihilate through intermediate 3 mesons is calculated and compared with experimental data. (Auth.)
