Description
A distortion absorbing means is disposed to a heat receiving portion of a divertor and a supporter for absorbing distortion of the heat receiving portion in three dimensional directions. An elastic and sliding means is disposed to an attaching portion of the supporter with the structure, to provide a structure movable in a three-dimensional direction. The heat receiving portion of the divertor region is generally comprises a divertor plate for receiving thermal loads due to charged particles generated by nuclear fusion reaction, and cooling tubes. The distortion of the heat receiving portion in the three-dimensional direction can be absorbed according to the constitution described above. Since the supporter is elastic and slidable relative to the structures, destruction due to distortion is not caused. Since rigidity endurable to electromagnetic force can be provided, a divertor for a thermonuclear device having improved reliability can be attained. (N.H.)
