Description
A scheme for growing mixed K2NixCo(1−x)(SO4)2 · 6H2O (KCNSH) single crystals under conditions of supercooling at 5 °C–10 °C without spontaneous crystallization in solution for more than a month has been proposed and implemented. The growth method is implemented according to the 'rotor crystallizer' scheme. The crystals grown were characterized by optical spectroscopy and x-ray topography. The crystals obtained demonstrated the optical properties necessary to create effective UV filters. (paper)
