Description
A model for unified consideration of low-lying two-quasiparticle states in odd-odd and even-even nuclei is proposed. The effects related to particle-core coupling are taken into account. The eigenstates of the neighboring odd nuclei enter the description as a basic illustrated by calculation of the O2+ state energy in 116Sn. 2 figs., 11 refs. (author)
