Description
A simple and fast chromatographic separation procedure based on zirconium-phosphate was developed to remove the matrix activities of sup(42)K, sup(24)Na and sup(18)F from the primary coolant of WWER type nuclear power plants thus allowing the radiochemical γ-spectrometric analysis of the majority of fission products (sup(131)I, sup(132)I, sup(133)I, sup(134)I, sup(135)I, sup(134)Cs, sup(136)Cs, sup(137)Cs, sup(86)Rb) within a couple of hours after sampling.
