Description
Indus-2 is a 2.5 GeV electron synchrotron radiation source (SRS), which provides a spectrum of photons from Infrared to X-ray region. The Synchrotron Radiation (SR) photons are transported to the experimental station through appropriate beamlines. This paper discusses hutch layout design, standardization of fabrication, shielding material selection, quality checks, installation and subsequent optimization based on calculations, experiments and radiation survey
