Conventional uranium mining and milling model

Description

The model is structured into submodels capable of predicting the contributory factors which aggregate into estimates for production cost of yellow cake from conventional western sandstone deposits of the type currently being mined or potentially envisioned for future exploration. Base-case production is from underground or open-pit mines and either acid or carbonate leach milling. A financial submodel based on last-quarter 1976 prices generates a cash flow over the project life at variable rates of discounted return on equity. Input escalation rates allow for estimating production costs and selling prices in current dollars for future years
