Determination and assessment of risk from the perspective of Christian moral theology
Description
Technology is understood as a cultural task of mankind that has to be achieved with due regard to rules of conduct and technical requirements. It is a task that can be accomplished only by a joint effort, and thus emphasizes the social aspect. This approach of the problem brings in the demand for due consideration of the needs of future generations. (DG)

Technik wird als Kulturauftrag an den Menschen verstanden, bei dessen Erfuellung er Verhaltensregeln und Sachgesetze zu beruecksichtigen hat. Technik kann nur als Gemeinschaftswerk vollzogen werden und entspricht darin der Sozialverflechtung des Menschen.
