SO(3) monopoles as confinement mechanism
Description
The SU(2) LGT can be rewritten in the form of a Z(2) system coupled to SO(3) monopole currents. Various inequalities are derived that rigorously translate confinement at arbitrarily large β to a condition on monopole excitation probabilities. (orig.)
