Analysis of the conditions in the envelope of Nova Delphini 1967 during the premaximum stage
Creators
Description
Analysis of the NDel 1967 spectrum has been carried out on August 8, 9 and 26 and September 22, 1967 by the growth curves method. The excitation temperature was found to decrease during that period. The turbulence velocity was determined to be significantly less for FeI than for ionized metals. The relative chemical composition was obtained: for 12 elements it did not differ from the solar one; the abundance of Cr was less; the abundances of N and O were greater than in the solar atmosphere. It is possible that the C, N and O abundances change during the premaximum stage
