High-Temperature Reactor Module Power Plant. Safety Analysis Report: Site. Chapter 1

Description

Chapter 1 of the High-Temperature Reactor Module Power Plant: Safety Analysis Report. The generation of electricity, process steam and/or district heat, and also of injection steam for tertiary oil extraction, using an HTR Module power plant can satisfy the requirements of industry and the domestic user. Such applications are typical of industrial sites. Since this was taken into account during the development of the plant concept, the HTR Module can be installed on many typical industrial sites - largely regardless of site-specific conditions. Until the actual location of a site is decided, the assumptions concerning expected site conditions illustrated below are taken äs a basis for evaluation of the concept and the preparation of the preliminary overall evaluation of the plant and its Operation. The assumptions are representative of a large group of Potential sites.
