A search for low-harmonic pulsation in the Ap star CS Vir
Description
Analysis of 9.2 hr of differential photoelectric photometry of the Ap star CS Vir (HD 125248) obtained at Lowell observatory resulted in an upper limit of approximately 0.004 mag on the peak-to-peak amplitude of any brightness variation having a period between 10 and 90 min. Consequently, the possible quasi-periodic variability reported by previous authors is not verified. A slight possibility that CS Vir is undergoing low-amplitude, aperiodic variations cannot be dismissed. (author)
